I have a Problem

every time i join a privater server i make my account create my character and then click start the small window comes up with the gm names and other information and then closes mir completely

has n e 1 else had this and can n e 1 help me

is it because i have mir 1.4 and 1.8 installed?

its coz u have the wrong mir.exe, make sure you have the same one that the server is run off.

Its because you have the wrong mir.exe . If you want your own server mir exe it should be where your M2server is. It is called mir.dat. Make sure you copy and paste it. Also if you want to change what it is make sure you have no file extension on so you can rename it from dat to exe..

so what do i do now reinstall mir 1.4

No..jus change the mir.exe to the 1 thats compatible with your M2Server.

there should be a file in your server files called "client.zip" in there is the hexed/edited mir.exe that u need to run your mir, also i'd advise you to get 1.4 if u dont already have it :P

what server do u want to play..........eg Destiny server, download the basic patch and u get a special Mir exe , whic hwill let u play
