to make the 1st one trans parent then you could take a screen shot of the forum skin you are useing and fill in the top half with it so it dont look like a big white thing on the top. i like the idea of the claws over the sig.

Then save if as a gif (With no matte) becuase jpg will put a white background on, I think of the top of my head lol.
