ok i am trying to run a 1.9 server off line i thought i had done every thing right but not so lol.. any way i can log on and select a character but then black screen i am using foundation files for offline use and here is a pic....

can u plz tell me in idiot terms what im doing wrong and how to correct it plz guys ...thx for your help

The files you are using are old.

Use those instead, you do not have to change any IPs or anything in those, just extract to C:/mirserver and set up BDE admin.

ok i got it working but i have 1 prob i cant log in as gamemaster it says wrong password?? or could you tell me how to make my char a gm

Easy --

Go to your MirServer installation folder; i.e, C:\mirserver

Navigate to C:\mirserver\Mir200\Envir

Open AdminList.txt

* GameMaster
*
*

Delete 'GameMaster'
Insert your character name (you don't need one set up, just make sure you use the same name when you do)

So it should look like:

* MyCharName
* Character2 <-- You can add this too if you like
* Character3 <-- You can add this too if you like

Just make sure there is a space AFTER the star!
