my birthday is coming up and i have 80 quid.

theres the GeForce 8600GT SLI 256MB GDDR3 Dual DVI/TVO PCI-E which is its 76 quid .
my current graphics card is Radeon X1950 Pro Ultimate 256mb PCI-E , this is 150 MHZ weaker then the one i want ands it cant run DX10 games....

My only problem is , my CPU , i got a Amd Sempron 3400+.
Its difficult for me in 80 pounds to get a decent enough motherboard to fit a better CPU AND a new CPU for 80 quid or under. So what should i do , Leave the CPU? and just get that new graphics card? or get a new cpu (if i can afford). I am also in the uk so if u have any recommendations please can u do English sites or English pounds

Thanks!!

Hope u can help me out here!

Also i do have vista...

i myself think i should get the graphics card , as my cpu cant bottleneck my 'New' graphics card enough to make my x1950 run faster then a 8600GT

If your PC is doing everything you want it to do why upgrade it?

Use your £80 to have some fun if it's burning a hole in your pocket - alternatively save it, there is bound to be something you'll want in the future and you'll wish you had some money to get it.

Happy, soon to be, Birthday :)

You'll find that the semperon is actually creating a massive bottleneck for that card. To get top performance out of the card, you need to have somthing along the lines of a core 2 duo 1.6 or an athlon x2 3800+
