Icons not displying right.

My Icons on my desktop for Legend of Mir, World of Warcraft etc are not showing properly. There th hwite box with a blue top, like a window basically.

Been reading google and some people say its spyware/virus'

Im just doing a virus scan now with AVG (It does one automatically everyday, not brought one up for a while, so just doing another) and also using Spybot search and destroy to find any spyware, which does have 2 come up so far.

Any idea what else could cause this? Its only like this on my user, my Mother and Sisters are working fine?

Is it just the two icons? Perhaps you've got your performance settings incorrect.

You may know this but:

[Right click] My computer -> [Select] Properties -> [Select] Advanced Tab -> [Select] Settings under Performance -> [Select Tickbox] Show shadows. under x

the lack of image is down to the win32 excutable - Do they still work???

Was all windows on my desktop basically.

All sorted now though, did virus scans, adware scans, restarted... still same.

i went on mir, minimized and there they was! lol
