If you open a document in photoshop and you have it at 400 resolution and bring images say from google into that document will the images be 400 resolution or the normal resolution?

normal, photoshop wont automatically bump up its dpi.

How do i change the dpi on a picture?


Im required to present my work at 400 DPI. Now i started a new doccument i put the size in there and i changed the resolution (dpi) to 400 which is what i want. Now if i get pictures from google, will every picture i put on there be 400? if not how do i change it , i cant find the option for that =/

Well for example, if your working with a 400 dpi image, it'll be a pretty big canvas, if you import a smaller web found image, most of which are 72dpi or so, they will be really tiny on the page.

Only thing you can really do is find a stock site and grab high dpi images.

Depends solely on the images you need, tell me what your after and i should be able to give you some decent links to high dpi photos and stock.

A football player kicking a ball , but the picture needs to look as if the player aimed for the camera, like the guy already hit the ball and the picture was quickly taken, so you can see his action and stuff. And pictures in general of people doing olympic sports
