ok before you all try and sell me ur servers I'm not interested.

I just wanna know what you think the best server is around atm, for a noob player like moi.

FrOzEn is the best server around because...! Nah seriously though. It all depends on your taste in servers ?

P69: Been around a long (Which is a good and a bad thing) Good because you know its stable, bad because you have no hope in hell of catching the long time players. Its got a high user count. The only downside is its low rates(Personal opinion)

Mir Revenge: Been up for quite awhile now. Good thing about it is the usercount mainly if you ask me, good fun when it comes to PvP also. Bad thing is it feels too much like Euro to me so I'm not really into it.

Both FrOzEn (My server) & OldSkool are new upcoming servers which are both based on the AO files. I haven't tried Ben's server yet but from what I've heard its quite good, and I've had nothing but good comments about my own.

No disrespect to any server I've left out btw, this is all I can think of atm.

firstly i have no idea what AO files are or the like.
never was a P69 fan mainly because as u said hard to catch up. if i wanted that id play euromir.

Izar server if you don't mind some romanian competition.

FrOzeN server is based around the old FrOzEn by Leo funnily enough (good server although its 1.4)

Izar is probably one of the best 2.3 servers in my opinion atm like a euro clone though..

You might like Bandet - quite high rate 2.3 server.

DevilSoul Heroes will be a good server with the new hero files. (read about it on the DS thread)

Old Skool server in my opinion is bad. also 1.4

TnT is supposebly a corrupt server so never tried that.

MirRevenge has a big user count as far as I know - can't remember what it was like though.

at the moment my views on servers are:

Project69 has the high user count, stats are getting higher leveling is getting easier stable server but ruined now since the switch to 2.3 in my opinion.

old skool and frozen both good servers unique in their own way but both based on the 1.4 alphafrozen files as said above worth a try if you like pking.

devilsoul upcoming meant to be very good dont know much about it though myself, meteora low/medium stats dont know when itll be up though, torozor may come up soon and i beleive it will be one of the best high stats server to be released if or when it is.

TnT doesnt seem to be run very well but has had alot of positive comments but i wouldnt play it hoping for something steady.

1.9 wise id recommend massacre, steady, been around for long time maybe youd struggle to catch up i aint sure as i havnt played it in a while now.

also theres bandet, didnt like the server myself as the community were quite arrogant and i coulnt get much help off no one.

locms then is med rate but a low user count and also 1.9 .

and i know nothing of ragezone 2.3 or nemesis so cant comment on them.

at the moment though theres not many stand out server to speak of but id recommend either oldskool or frozen if your looking to get back into mir as their both alot of fun and maybe to wait until devilsoul or meteora to come out.

seems quite good but theres 2 things i can pick at

There version of BW sucks ass..terribly made
Renaming Item feature, which i dont like at the least

easy levelin to 51... then easy ish to 60 and slowly gets harder.

basic kit for each level is fairly easy 2 get, specail kit thats better stats is a lot rarer.

stats and server is based around PvP

a lot of hard and challengin boss's that require tactics and skills 2 kill.


theres no such thing as a best server, its a choice of opinion.

ps wond its AF (alphafrozen) files not AO lol

So You got 40% of the community on MirRevenge
40% Scattered over like 10-15 crappy servers
20% Just posting waiting for **** to happen or trying mir3

hallgarth from euro plays mirrevenge and he's level81 and people are moaning because he plays and level's all time.

Lol , not to float my own boat but :

I know most people play Mir for competition.
Since me and Ben "left" MirRevenge , thats a HEAVY chunk of the competitiveness gone from the server, the fact the host had to Ban us without reason (TWICE each lol) speaks for itself ...

But ...

The Great thing about Mir2 is that Hallgarth the "Bichon Strangler" no matter how much he levels , will always be crap at PvP :P ... lol

I would re-join MirRevenge .. but the host would only Ban me again once I started killing everyone , prolly the same for Ben too lol ...

It is looking like MirRevenge will be the "last" private server ...

MentaL sold his soul to TheDeath .. who in return reduced his Mir2 servers down to a playercount of 15 peak , loll ...

DevilSoul looks like it needs a lot of work disabling all the built in cheats and a lot of balancing issues ...

Bandet is well ... decent ... but I know not alot of people are for the lvl100+ servers ...

Suprisingly - Probably the best bet atm is Meteora ... if that flops then its 88 mir for me :P
