Im wondering if there is any way to increase performance in Mir2? Iv'e tried messing with driver settings etc but they have no effect at all.

My machine isn't so bad but in a crowded area im only getting 20-30fps :|

Athlon 64 3000
GeForce 6600GT
1gb Ram

normally a driver update will give you a better fps, ram also effects frames per second on a 2d game so installing more ram, or adjusting the virtual ram may give a slightly better performance, having less background programs running also has been known to increase fps so goto the task manager, process tab and stop any crap thats not needed, but dont shut off any of the system process's tho, iam not sure on what else you can do but iam sure someone else may have some suggestions

and 20-30 fps in a crouded area isnt that bad tbh

there isnt a command for 2.3 to check fps, on pre 2.0 it was something like @checkdebug ? or something lol if you want to check your fps download and run a program called fraps it can be found here:

use geforce and use ati.. i use both.. i asure u, theres a difference.. my fps in mir on ati = 120... using geforce.. 60.

ATI was a pain on mir, my nividia works fine most of the time.

well im runnin about 120 fps with an nvidia gforce 6800 xtreme so i dunno how u work out nvidia has problems with 2.3 :/

do wat koni sed cause sum programs dont rly like mir2.3 so it causes it 2 lagg now n then
