i believe on an iphone 3gs there is currently no way to change the imei number and probably won't be. On the original iphone there was a way of spoofing the imei but as far as i know i'm afraid you have a phone that cannot be used as a phone, only can be used as an ipod touch.

You dont deserve to be helped, in all honesty.

Why get a phone and have it cut off due to payment issues, and expect to get it working as normal?

if you dont give the phone back im pretty sure they can take u to court, as you signed a legal contract and it's illegal to mis payments and not return the phone, same if i payed a car off monthly and missed payments. be careful

Start paying again I have three contracts one currently is overdue by about 2weeks ring them and explain sometimes they get abit funny but as long as they get thier
money in the end they don't care.

Same with my Sky+ I'm always a day late due too when I get paid and when they want it. Pay them.

Cos he wants to look 'kool'. Have fun showing people your new brick, maybe offer to crack open a delicious nut with it for them?

Or maybe he took out the contract before the whole recession started, And then realised he couldnt afford it.

On a good note, The Iphone will be available on 'Orange' later this year.

On topic

Stupid mistake, is it 18month or 24month contract?

Who cares, it still costs more than buying the phone on PaYG.

Also, O2 > Orange.

Besides, you can unlock the iPhone to any network anyway.

Payed 400 quid for an iPhone, jailbroke it, stayed on o2.

Jailbreaking it wont break it... Contrary to what the name suggests.

Anywho, been on o2 forever, wouldn't bother changing. No other providers interest me and I don't have anything against o2.

Sure, you get to bring a mate to the cinema for free on a wednesday. But I get to play HOOK A DUCK when I top-up every month. Swings and roundabouts really.

Hook a duck? This intrigues me. I'd rather do that than help a freeloading friend.

o2 suprises, you play a short flash game where you get to hook a duck (or two, £15+) and get a prize (free texts - free ipods and such)

It's win.
