1 thing i was told today by guy at phones for u earlier on today was that apple recalled all the iphone 4's in that shop cause of a techical issue regarding the signal thing , not sure if true, i wanted iphone 4 can afford it but the deals on it aint amazing u get like 600min for 35 a month i dont think its worth it plus u cant replace the battery and im looking at a xperia 10 or something now looks like a good fone and i had a go on 1 today and was offered 1200mins unlim txt unlim internet and 50 picture msg's a month for £32 but its on orange and sony ericsson replace the battery after a year free of charge because the screen is good and the fone they realise the battery will take a beating over the year and replace it but the iphone u cant take out the battery and u cant add addition memory altho 32gb shud be enuff

Aye, they've recalled all iPhone 4g due to there being a sensor at the side of the phone which when covered, kills all signals.

Bit of a silly error really, duhhhhhh appleeee.

No recall as of yet, be very surprised if they did tbh.

It is a massive shock, that a huge firm like Apple have done this, imo they've done one of two things.
1. Have a very very bad QA/test department, and have missed it, however this is unlikely as they are a MASSIVE company
2. Have noticed it, and thought "**** it, it will be okay, we need to get them on the market now"

do u think its possible for them to recall all the iphone 4's? i know so many ppl who have got them now would seem like a huge job to recall every single 1

Well in theory yes it is possible, but, it's a major hardware problem that would require quite a significant hardware revision i'd imagine.

Either way, the iphone 4 will still sell extremely fast.

The Steve Jobs twitter account that announced the recall, was actually the fake/parody account.

A m8 reckons it'l be fixed by an update
Would be a very clever update, as the problem stems from actually where the antenna/receiver is actually located in the device, if i remember correctly.
