i had to format my pc yesterday, so i lost all my music on my pc, luckily i had most of it on my ipod.

i used ephpod (like i did the first time), and copied all the songs from my ipod to my pc.

i installed itunes, and got it to detect all the songs.

i have 3000+ songs, but only 1600ish have gone in.

the other songs cant b played my itunes, or media player. but when i plug my ipod in, the songs can be played from my ipod through my pc (and just on my ipod)

iv found out why this is, but i have no idea how to fix it.

when u go on getinfo i get this info..

the songs that work fine have...

and the ones that dont work have this info...

nevermind, ive sort of sorted it. i used a program called sharepod and it let me put them all back.

only problem is half of them are m4a (acc type), so i cant play them on media player, so does anyone know a good m4a to mp3 converter, which still keeps all the itunes artist/album/song info? all the ones ive found just show the file name, and its a pain in the arse renaming 1600+ songs and finding who sings them.

M4A to Mp3 = You lose half the norm sound quality.

M8 I wouldnt recommend it lol.
Why cant u just use the normal format they are in anyway?

I use Winamp 2 play my tunes and that works gr8.

bull ****ing ****, you don't lose anything unless you have a piece of **** converter, what you do is, for an easy option instead of using a shareware piece of **** is to virtually burn the music onto CDs, then rip them using wmp or winamp as mp3s =/ i guess

i actually found out that itunes has a built in m4a to mp3 convertor, and it sounds just the same.

i like the new media player 11, more than itunes now tbh, + i can play movies etc with just one program now.
