I'm just curious due to all the talk etc, do you think the Iran's will be stopped in future ?
The estimated five year to make a nuclear bomb, they do plan to use it. How ever you think the UN will go to war befre this occurs?

I say ya because if they do, they'll most likely send one on America, UK and obviously there hatred of religion...

Although what you think?

IMO i'd say nuke em and leave em be, atleast they'll not be able to recover from it.

They wont attack us... Almost every poweful country has nuclear capabillities, and not even those crazy bástards would want nuclear war. Even if they did, we'd be able to take down their nukes mid flight and fight back with umpteen force and totally devestate their pitiful country.

Like the Fox said. Certain countries would love to have a nuke, but dont have the resources to begin their own nuclear research program. Iran are probably on the job right now due to the war in Iraq. While Britian and American forces are thinned out over the globe, and the current emphasis is on rebuliding Iraq and Ahganistan, Iran has a chance.

Due to faggot countries such as the French and Germans + msot of Europes military and political powers being too carebear to fight anyone, and arguing with those that arent too scared, its an easy ride to start it up.

I say we nip it in the bud, the easiest way to make a stance is to impose trade and tourism restrictions on the countries and try to stop people from going there and buying goods from there, basically rape their economy.

Either that or a tactical strike force could probably nail them in a short amount of time as long as they get in early.

I wish Churchill was still alive and Truman, they were the ones which made our countrys strong. Or kennedy aswell, i guess if these were still about, they'd have no hassle in removing them out, but most likely sending a nuke on them a long time ago. lol imo

Churchill was charismatic and a good war leader, sadly not a man to manage a country though.

Kennedy wasn't strong in defense, he just shined because he had to in the cuban missile crisis. Didn't your country vote Churchill out right after the war.

Yes they did, the fools :P but they was all brained washed by the propaganda by Gobbels (spelling) by the bombing of Dresden, with it all being blamed on UK. Which made us look bad and ofcourse Churchill, although it ended up in a very successful mission. But this was all done after he was forced to lose his job.

But as Liandrin said, good war leader but running a country nono.

I didnt mind Kennedy against the Cold War, he did make the 'Quarantine' formula up with stopping ships in and out of Cuba to be examined if any weapons were being carried aboard.

EDIT:
Not sure who it was who sent ex-cubans to the bay of pigs either it was kennedy or truman? Although ended up in a total disaster with being totally defeated. can't remember my heads blank. Urban tell me :P

Kennedy. It failed miserably too. Reagan owned the cold war.

Lol thats the one, i dont know. Stalin was a beast, fair clever imo. Killing/lieing to make his foes look bad, Trotsky, Zamakhev (s/p)/ the other one. Although i remember him telling trotsky the wrong date for lennys funeral.
Later on exiling him out of Russia, then following his assasination. Very clever and risky but worked. Following the five year plan, for fifteen years. Darn the hard work i could imagine >< peasants being told what to do, Collectivisation occuring, with private owned farms being made into lots for Stalin himself. Then later on becoming the second 'superpower' throughout the world. Crazy stuff considering they was like three hundred years behind the other countries, then coming through to becoming the second 'superpower' in the world.
Although they coudnt keep up with Americans weapons/SDI program Star Wars lol very stoopid by the americans, costing billions which failed miserably. I must say though it pished the russians in to thinking they'd rule the world by lasers lol. But made the Americans economy come to a halt due to how much it cost.

Gorbachev the russian was the man which saved the world, maybe a traitor to the soviet union but made peace and the seperation of it all, even his job. The silly man tut tut.

:p

They'll sell one to cuba tbh!!! and Cuba will use on california, Urban O evacuate! come to my house ;) so yo ucan fix me comp j/k

EDIT: on a serious note, i think if they made plenty of nukes, once they have the formula to make one. No matter how size the countires armys are. Once there sent (nukes) theres going to be chaos anywhere, even though say it got shot out of the sky, in middle of the ocean. The water will be so radioactive that the fish would die, the blast could possibly cause a Tsunami and an incident like whats happening in New orleans could occur again. Makes you think though, terrorists know this has hit America hard, ii hope they defend this port even three times harder/ miles more security as i reckon it could be a target once its up again. But who knows =/

Well your teacher is quite mistaken concerning the economy...

First of all, it only cost 60 billion and that was over years of time. While that seems like a lot for you and me, to a government of our size that's not a bank breaker.

Second, how would that halt an economy that is powered overwhelmingly by the private sector?

Not to sound rude, but your teacher is pulling stuff out their ass if he/she told you the economy 'halted'. Don't take my word for it, google.

As for the defense system, it takes years to develop and test and prepare something like that, which of course logisticaclly could have never been completed during the Reagan era. While the administrations after him didn't put as much into the program, it still serves as a strategic defense against missiles that could be put out by Iran or North Korea, while new advanced weaponry can get around it.
