is a psp worth buying this xmas?

as the title says, are they worth buying i mean, ive told my m8s im getting one this xmas and they say dont cus their **** yet they dont have one and alot of other people say its **** , but on the other hand i think they look really good and ive read alot of reviews saying there good...
shud i buy or not?
and if so what games u reccomend? , i like FPS RPG and Addictive games

lol.............. shud be in person computer stuff i think or just genral off topic basicly y dont u go buy 1 find out for urself if its good if its not take it back my m8 has 1 and the graphics r great not bad little things although iv got idears for a Psp2 :P i think it should have a built in mobile phone and maybe other nice stuff not sure tho :P

zidio, there is really no need for a psp2, as the psp is constantly being updated, and im pretty damn sure, mobile phone technology is definately on the mind of Sony, for the psp
IN FACT, in the actual prototype release at a Gameshow, The Sony Director, in fact said that the psp will be capable of mobile phone technology, mini keyboard, and a camera

and for one the microphone headset has almost or has been released i cant remember, the ekyboard wnt be far behind, and since i had my psp, there is a folder in the "photo" section called, "digital camera images" and so far i havent found a way to put pictures in there, so..

but wud a mod be so kind to move this thread after the retard posted in wrong place.

u can already get a camera. nut i forgot the link. And yes they are really fantastic, ur m8s are only saying this because they hanvent got one or orderd one. Im having one for crimbo coz they are a really cool gadget

Well my mate had a PSP and yeah its good but, you have to think, "would i really use it that much", Are you really on the bus/train/in the car that much ? not many people would actually bring them out with them when they are going to their mates house as you cant really play it and talk much at the same time. I wouldn't spend my money on it tbh, i'd just buy a few ps2 games. If you actually are going to buy one though, buy one from ebay or from a mate or somthing, get one with 2.0 firmware so you can downgrade it, lets you download games for it.

I've got a PSP, still getting a PS3, they're bound to have some form of integration between the two.

can link a psp to an xbox 360 to play mp3's and transfer files
can link a psp to a ps2, in certain games, e.g Pro Evolution Soccer 5, to edit your favourite teams on the move etc.
can link a psp to a ps3 to use the psp as a controller.

one of my mates that does have one said their amazing, you can go online (proper browse) and play other people online as long as i have a wireless connection in my house , is this true? cus ive always wanted a online console

My money is on the 360, because its a matter of time to be cracked and ill get myself a nice new dash on it, hopefully EVOX or something, oh and plus theres a new linux conversion project on the go.
