hey is it possible to connect a dell laptop hard drive to a normal desktop pc, as the hdd is messed up on lappy, and wont boot, nor will the cd drive work, tried a few, so think mother board dead on it, so have pics and uni stuff on lappy, need to transfer over is this possible?

Not sure if the connectors are the same to be honest also with my laptop the harddrive you can unscrew 2 screws on the back and take it off its only got pins there like a sim card!! you may not be bale to do this! Someone else may know something though! if not just get a new mobo for it?

Maplins would be your Best bet - I am guessing this 2.5 Drive is IDE as you can now get SATA One in newer Laptops.
