Is it Possible in MapInfo

Is it posssible to do similar comands in map info as you can on npc's
ie:-
Make it check for an item befor allowing you through a door

Origonaly:- 0101 12,5 -> HA1730 45 37

I tried variouse variations in MapInfo on the following theme to no avail
or are there different comand for map info that does same thing, if so can you post them "ta"

EG

0101 12,5 -> #if
checkitem SecurityScroll
#act
mapmove HA1730 45 37
#elsesay

lol easy use mapquest system (check bloodsword quest to see how it works exactly)

yeh it can be done, nb has done it in a very good quest on his test server.

Wait...my mapquests arnt working becoz I need to script something in mapinfo.txt?

Im a little confused here ~ see, I want the map to check for a flag. if the person doesnt have that flag then they get a box with some text in it, then it sets them that flag so they dont see it agen when they walk back on the map. Help plz.
