During the reboot yesterday or the day before, did you change the chances of decent ores dropping again?
I was on for approx 5-6 hours last night most of which I spend in MM, and what did i get? 4 Adamantine ores and one platinum ore..... in that many hours!!!! now I do not think that it should be made easy to get the stuff needed to make gems, but what has been done to mining since the server started is severe overkill.
Maximum of 3 clients at any one time, that was totally understandable.
Implementing the 30 second rule for any one spot, that I have only just got my head around and adapted.
But decreasing the chance to get anything ontop all of the above??!?! Seems ridiculous overkill to me.
I enjoyed mining and being able to pop off to do house jobs, or make a brew or see to the kids and pop back every few minutes to check on my character. Now it is just untenable and absolutely the opposite of enjoyable.
People may disagree with me, but the way I see it, if someones gonna put that sorta time into doing something then there needs to be light at the end of the tunnel, or it will just kill the enjoyment and people wont do it anymore (which if im being honest is the way mining is very close to being)
I think that maybe you should increase the time allowed in one spot before moving to like 3 minutes or something close to that. This still means that people cant go AFK all day and rip the ass out of it, but there is still a limit in place. 2 or 3 minutes would be adequate it think. Anyone agree or disagree?
Going AFK is part of the game whether people like it or not. Don't punish me just because I dont spend every second at my PC.
Purely as an example, if I am afk mining for 3 minutes, I am not getting any advantage over somone that is sitting at their PC doing the same thing for 3 minutes. Infact it is more of a disadvantage as I cannot defend myself if anything. So what is the problem with going AFK while doing menial tasks like mining?!?!?!?!?!
