is mir 3 dying?

people stopped post here also some servers turned off....i think people is getting bored of mir 3...

all servers are very similars, no new ideas, no new files

i hope new files will be released soon

It's probbably because most people are intrested in Mir2 servers.
(Mainly why there is alot more mir2 servers around than mir3)
And alot more chat going on.

Plus theres been ALOT of released for mir2 recently which could completely wipe the floor with mir3.

nooo i love mir 3, just need a good up time server high rate wif new idea thats all, if we get this assasin in mir3 or even new skills then itll comebk to life until then we jst gotta sit and wait am afraid

now i'm playing lom2 because im bored off same caves, cities, mobs, etc..

mi2 is alot more editable, since theres no decent mir3 map editor (the maps are too complex for it to be as easy as mir2) and theres no open source to mir3.

if mir3 were open source, and have a nice map editor im sure there'd be alot more interest.

We have to work with the files we've got and utilise in ever more inventive ways without causing problems... is it dying, well that's like saying is tetris dying (think about it)

mir is slowly becoming less and less popular. soon it wont even work on our operating systems. mir4 ftw :P

Mir isn't dying - You just have to look at the Mir2 sections to realise this.

However with Mir3 as pointed out, there isn't any real source widely available and I don't think it will be anytime soon for anyone to release any.

As Chimera said, we have to work with the current files that we have and advance them further than what is currently being done - Yes Ideally it would be better if the Mir3 source was available, as most would relish the chance of building up a Mir3 server from scratch.
