OK 1st of all sorry if this is rong place 2 post this wasnt 2 sure but ne way here we go ... is it possible 2 host a mir 1.9 well ne server on a pc with no net on a hub 2 a pc which has the net lol bit hard 2 understand but im wondering cos wot i have ben doing is the optosit way round 2 that and have no internet acess and been playing the server via the offline hubbed pc im sharing folders from 1 pc 2 the other so if ne 1 no`s if this is possible and how i think it cud b done useing some global and some offline (127.0.0.1) not sure tho

And spence, didn't you have a router at one point? Anyways, not quite sure but isn't it just a simple procedure of sharing the internet connection between 2 computers?

lool its not possible with skanky AOL and they conned me well my mum they rekon the day we sighned up 4 it we agree`d 2 staying minmum of 12 months :S wtf my mum sighned nothing. so its all pissed tbh



aye lol i have got a router buts it so old lol so i got a hub n still dont work the router isnt wot ur thinking its a corssover cable lol look exactly like a network cable >.<
but i herd there is a prog u put on both pc`s its 4 AOL and it shares the connection it also has a crack 4 payment but dunno where/wot the site is 4 it unch:

you can't help yourself? search google for internet connection sharing and forward the right ports to your server and there you go.

Is it the AOL software being the restraint?

Ifso I can guide you through connecting you to AOL without the software.

go and find a program called winproxy4 it will allow you to use your router/hub/whatever you want to use its quite easy to use but everytime you restart your internet connection you need to re-setup the proxysever as it dont allow the ipaddress to update

Another Program i used on aol was WinGate and its also a proxy program, and not to hard to use.
