Issues since last Flinching "fix"

The flinching issue would seem improved now, but it's infact broken in a different way. There's a good chance one doesn't flinch at all now. (1 out of 3 times roughly?)

May I suggest lowering the time your character is flinched for rather than lowering the amount of flinches per second?

As a comparison, on euro every hit that went in would make you flinch, but for like 50/100ms rather than almost a full second.

Edit: I don't think I worded it well enough. By not flinching at all I mean you actually don't flinch at all, not even if you only get hit once.

Yeah he's got a point.

You can get hit a good 10 seconds after your last one and sometimes it won't flinch.

Thank you for the detailed report

The updates to flinch are really still in a testing stage and of course will be tweaked and adjusted to get it right.

Make it mob only, I am auto runnin mid pvp after not being hit for 15 +seconds, looks cheat like.

The problem isn't as big as these guy's are letting on, the odd time you will get hit and not flinch . on average if you have had a busy hour hunting / pking it will have happened 3 or 4 times.

also you can take alot more damage from blizz now as you try and move from the aoe it can get more hits as you mkve quicker in its range

^ my personal experience with it also atm.

It's a nice feature that helps people get through caves easier/survive a bit more in PvP. Sometimes rarely you'll take damage but not flinch when you probably should have, but I suspect that's the system giving the char the benefit of the doubt.

agreed, the issue was never to do with the number of flinches but the duration of each flinch and how long it 'sticks' you to the floor for on here. i dont know if this is due to the fact this client is different to euro, but imo it's definitely the casue of the problem.

if u got hit 10 times and didn't flinch once then you would be rightly banned.

ur feedback is misleading. GM can log in and go for a run through any cave and he'll see you're talkin pie.

Ask every dd member and the GMs Euro sent proof, there's a thread about it 'cheats'
I got hit 12x probs more was running circles for 8 m + all on screen...mbp was at the fight..it was by archers I took 0 damage nor did I flinch.
I ain't banned, but ofc your guesses and prev mir knowledge enables you to be EE.
You win.

If you took 0 damage, maybe they were on peace? lol. If you took no damage you shouldn't flinch.

As kori said, if theres no damage you shouldn't flinch.

Also maybe with there ping and your speed you can evade alot of hits, altho i dno if your fast or not.

If you ask me the movement/flinch system is completely ****ed atm all round.. things that happen shouldnt happen and things that should happen dont happen. They are in the middle of tweaking this.. not sure why as its never really been a massive problem in the past but i suppose they are trying to bring an even playing ground to the field.. not sure thats gonna work on mir as it takes 90% of an skill out of PVP with shift holding being able to hit 9/10 vs same speed players.. ive found it can still be overcome using minimal skill tho.. walk pvp i thought was ****ed but found to be actually worthy of use against players the same speed.

Long story short.. Im sure they will work out the system soon enough, there's no need for multiple threads over the same issue they are aware of and working on.
