Item Stats Not Displaying

Hi Folks,
I am encountering an issue when I hover the mouse over items. The text box which displays their stats does not display so I can’t see any stats for any items in inventory or equipped to my character.

Has anyone else encountered this or have any thoughts on a fix?

i have noticed this issue with laptops running onboard gfx with intel drivers
are you using a laptop with intel graphics drivers?

No problem at all. Just said I would ask. I’ll have to upgrade the laptop so get the proper experience but I’ll manage in the meantime. Thanks for the quick response. Loving the game.

I use a old ASUS laptop with on board card, and item hints work fine.

I have tried using my work laptop (much newer system) and when I click launch I just get a black screen. I checked the erro log and I have the following message;

System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Client.MirControls.MirScene' threw an exception. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.DirectX.DirectSound, Version=1.0.2902.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I have just got a brand new Acer Nitro 5 laptop running an Intel I5 chip and GTX 1650 gfx card. All .net framework is installed also.

Installed Mir there and I get a black screen when I click launch. The following message is in the error log;
