I am literally counting down the days until the release of Black Ops (Sad? I don't give one) I've taken the week off work & i'm going down to my local Gamestation on Monday night to grab my copies (2) of this badboy!

Anyone else can't wait as much as me?

Not keen on the game play or the graphics. Prefer BattleField.

nah they've changed the sniping ect, made it easyer to no scope and slowed down quick scoping ect.. dono to much about it coz my bros the cod addict.. lol but yeh hes counting down the days to

The game play on it is amazing fair play, my fokes on holidays so im minding the place and enjoying their 52" hdtv 400mhz refresh rate, its like.. WOAH!

I'd do that if I wasn't going to the midnight release on Monday night. I like to go for the atmosphere though! Had a laugh last year with MW2's release.

My brother is the COD expert, but too me they not changed anything from the last one, added few gadets and weapons, everything eles looks exatcly the same and Exwizz comment about they changed sniper control.. that isn't a reason to buy this game, from what i have seen in this, they could of just added them to MW2. Every detail is the same, graphics, even little things like sound, flags, base images, they just got MW2 and added stuff to it.

As I said dude, unless you know and enjoy them you won't really notice the difference. Also the graphics on Black Ops will most likely be worse than Modern Warfare 2 on the consoles, because Treyarch do more particle-heavy games (more "dirty" if you will). But it should look awesome on the PC.

It's just what it is to you, to me it's a new step in my obsession - something new to feed my boredom, a friend & I are even planning on buying our own dedi server when it comes out.

you could say the same about any game series, in fact EA recently cancelled their NBA game for similar reasons. I can see it being more of a problem with sports games though than the Cod franchise , cod introduces new features / improved graphics / new story mode / games / maps / co-ops missions / customization etc. what does a new football game add for example? some new players and slightly improved graphics.
you get more for your money with COD tbh.

Wager Matches, CP (Call of Duty Points - new "spending" money feature where you purchase your perks/weapons/attachments/camo etc), new games modes. The list goes on and on really...


Not to mention the amazing story lines each Call of Duty has brought us.
