I would take a complete shot in the dark and say he banned some Chinese player, and now daring Jamie to check out Athena and Mazu for legitimate achievement of item stats because they probably feel victimised because they're Chinese.
Only time these guys seem to come out the wood work, either when something flashy comes out (Zircon Source) or because they feel targeted for being Chinese lol.

Should be easy to get even, delete every single weapon that has difference sc and mc and fix the bug. In this way, no one will complain.

Tbh he has a point, the NPC clearly states stats such as +1275 max, when you got people running around +3000 and more weaps its obviously going to raise questions. After all a limit has been set clearly on the NPC description.
