Hi everyone. I want start my private server legend of mir 3 to play with friends only. I tried to do everything with guides (for example mir3job-setup.pdf), but now i have a problem.
I dont know everything is good, so im writing what i do.
First I installed MS SQL Server 2000 in trial version. I create new database server.
Second I open SQL Server Enterprise Manager and create new databases. In this case that are: account, conlog, game1, herocommon1, manage. I restored databases from server files i have (LSJOB.zip from kaori site).
Now i created ODBC the same as databases: account, conlog, game1, herocommon1, manage. All with SQL Server.
Late i opened again SQL Server Enterprise Manager and change server name and ip adresses in tables TBL_PUBIPS, TBL_SELECTGATEIPS and TBL_SERVERINFO.
Now i open loginsvr, dbsvr, login gate and gamegate folders and change ip adresses in *.ini files. In loginsvr and dbsvr i change ip adresses and server name in application.
I change !setup.exe too, and another files in Setup folder.
My ip adress is always 127.0.0.1 for local join only first.
And now i should to have everything great. I start loginsvr (and klick play sign), db svr (and klick play sign), login gate (and klick 'run'), eiserver.exe and im waiting for loading. Next i start SelChrGate and RunGate and always klick 'run'. I think now everything works.
I have few client, because i tried many times to connect with my server (on the same machine where server is).
1)client from kaori site ->official china client ->doesnt work (i changed ip adresses ofc to 127.0.0.1 in *.ini files)
2)client euro from kaori site ->official euro client -> look up.
and two clients i dont know where i found.
I tried to start client, i created account (login aaa, pass aaa) and klick chineese word like 'play'. Yesterday i had next screen and 3 or 4 chineese words and thats all. I cannot klick. Today i tried do everything again and my client is automatically closed.
Sorry for my english, i hope you understand what i want say.
