A long long time ago, guessing around 7-8 years now i played a 1.4 server it was very popular and you would get to log on screen like on euro instead of picking ( Dragon / P server ) You could pick between a Low rate verison of the server and a high rate verison of the server, i really enjoyed this and think a lot of people would.

Point i'm trying to make you can clearly see 80% of the cry babys about drops on here are people from High rate servers, then you get all your euro users, Tash / Xele / Koriban / JB / John Few others which are outshining the rest of the server because they are just better low rate players and have boss timers set up well.

This could be easily changed by simply making the SMALLEST tweaks to Acem2 drops ( Just making FF, Curse not so easily to get ) Because they we're the spells that ****ed the server up badly, at a point wadesteet we had 4 of the 5 FF books ingame and we took SW with about 8 players on with about 50 attacking us lol.

This woud even it out brilliantly you woulnd't get the noobs always crying on chornicles and then e.g making it so samuel wont give in ( Because he will give in to the crys ) And **** the server up.


I'd happily play Acem2 over this again and i'm sure a hell of a lot of people would here, yet a good 200+ Players would stay on chronicles because of all they hard work they've put in and i could EASILY seeing Acem2 hit over 200+ again because its a lot more hurd of know than what it was by time people starting hear about it last time people already had dc+100 so they obviously didnt think they could catch up.

Although you make some well-said points, I think splitting the usercount between 2 servers is semi-bad idea BUT there is one flaw with this idea.

Who would run the high rate? Samuel certainly can't run both servers at once as he seems to struggle enough as it is with one server. Who would you propose run the other one?

ReeceW : Your a idiot, i was one of best kitted wars on Acem2 before i quit and never got banned only reasoned i cheated here because so many was and i dont need to justify my self, i came clean told everybody i used cheats and i was banned.

Koriban : Aye was thinking the same but i'm sure a lot of people would jump at the chance to run acem2 if samuel gave them the chance. Agree about the usercount though, my ideal person to run this would be Skyline as i seen him play a lot on acem2 and he knows mir like the back of his hand but i also understand hes a busyish person and could even turn it down but i'm sure samuel could find away around this. Acem2 wouldn't need these big updates like Chornicles does either because still at the end of Acem2 people wasn't fully nice kitted only 1 SOWG ingame, people sturggling to get to Orcs kr, I think this idea could work in favour of clearing all the noobs ( Apex ) out of chornicles aswell lol,

I'd suggest something similiar too, and running 2 server's isn't a problem if turrican or whoever does most of the work on the off server.
where exp is around x8 and has prettymuch precisely the same content as chronicles just abit more sped up also this works as a testrealm of some sort to test out the higher end skills which samuel talked about getting content tested moreof in the chronicles med rate then some stuff being screwed up and hurting the long term livety of chronicles.

Although I do seriously not think samuel will do this. You'd be better off hosting the ripped server files from samuel with a server on ragezone(since these aren't hard to find at all.

Them skills you are on about are already in Acem2 and working fine they don't need looking at, God knows it's a good idea never put it past samuel could do this would keep a lot of people happy.

ofcourse they were but am talking about balancing for the chronicles server since things will be gotten alot faster then on chronicles.
could reqruitsome game moderators with a kick function and can teleport around mir but not mke items or spawn and they won't be onsidered players on the server if caught helping people with bosses will be stripped of their function they could play on their non-moderator character but on moderator character is only for observation on hackers or glitch abusers also when they catch someone they note it down and kick them from the server

I don't actually want a high rate server, I just want to be able to play my char fully with all the spells.

Exp/gold/drops, everything else could stay the same and I would play just cause I get to have spells without having to dedicate all my time to the game.

I would however jump straight onto the old AceM2 if it came back up, just cause chronicles bores me.

^ It's your hunting mentality not the server rate that needs to change, if your not willing to grind for them books then its not worth playing books are one of biggest factors of mir and i think they should be rarer than some of the best items ingame ( My opinion )

I'm just too used to modern MMO's now :P, on Mir now it just feels like I miss out on half of the game cause I can't commit enough time to it. Was fine when I was 13/14 and could spend 48hours playing lol, but now I'm usually working 60+ hours a week and don't have the time, or I'm just to damn tired.

There would be no difference apart from drops and exp. therefore it would be piss easy to maintain both servers.

All it it would be is - take away a 0 from all the drop rates and add a 0 to all the mobs exp.

More like take away 2 0's from drops and add about 5 onto mobs exp :P haha Cheer though because this was what im thinking as its same based files and nobody else has them it would maintain its self fine ? + A good 200 people have put enough work in to safely not be quitting Would be good to have 2 servers up aswell.

This server isn't difficult at all and in fact is probabaly still better dropping than pre 1.9.

Commitment is a big issue with gamers these days. 3 bosses a day is not gonna get you anywhere. Need to use your time constructivly instead of trolling around mw or pissing away an hour fighting over a boss. Can get a lot done in 2 hours if you hunt the entire time.

Ace was Low-Mid rate, 6x rates i think?

Ace was enjoyable, Chronicles just isn't imo, no point re opening Ace though, they need to focus and making the current content on Chronicles more appealing and not such a struggle.
