If your gonna be doing raid's etc I think its better going :

Priest (Healer)
War (Tank)
Or some sort of high damage dealer like a mage I think it was.


If you don't know what a raid is ask your mate :P

Main raiding damage dealers are Rogues and Warlocks.

Assuming that when you hit 70 (more like 80 no doubt by the time you'll get chance to raid any decent content) you want to completely geek it 5-6 nights a week =p.

Seeing as though you've only just started, it's barely worth you beginning raiding until Wrath of the Lich King comes out, as anything you will be able to obtain, will be made obsolete by level 70-75 greens.

me m8 sed he got into it after lvl 20 and he wo biggest mir geek ever , so i thought if he can become a wow addict from mir ,ill ave a bash at it :P

5-6 isn't a necesity =p, but in order to see the real endgame content, atleast 4 is usually required.

I personally only raid 2 nights a week now, as we have BT and Hyjal on farm and can clear both in this time.

No not really its your life but this game defo makes your social life a hell of alot smaller as i have noticed with a few people i know!

I hated the starting levels just as much, its nice when you have a friend or two on there which you can do quests with etc.

If you stick it and get to a higher level, you may start to enjoy it.

Also play around with alot of different characters at first, you may find you prefer one over the other.
