basicly i wanna set up a kill count quest that gives you a prize soon as you killed the last mob.

so say i wanted the quest to be, kill 25 omas and your reward will appear in bag.

so i want the npc to say Kill 25 omas ect.

but im unsure how to set it up so when they've killed 25 omas the weapon appears in bag

Dont think ya can you'll have to make it so you have to go speak with the npc to recieve prize. I could be wrong.

you can. the trickiest part is getting the variables to play right lol.

[@onkillmob(oma)]
#ACT
var integer human oma 0
Loadvar human oma ..\questdiary\killcount\variables\integral.txt
#If
checkvar human oma = 25
#act
break
#If
checkvar human oma = 24
#ACT
Calcvar human oma + 1
Savevar human oma ..\questdiary\killcount\variables\integral.txt
addnamelist ..\questdiary\killcount\finished\oma.txt
linemsg 6 "congratulations you receive a sowg for killing 25 omas"
give swordofwargod 1
#ElseAct
Calcvar human oma + 1
Savevar human oma ..\questdiary\killcount\variables\integral.txt
BREAK

something similar to that should work. its an edit of mine so i jus trying to get it right without all the other **** needed to make mine work :p

Variables are complicated and often lead to more trouble than they're worth. Especially when you have 20-40 users trying to same quest.

The [@onkillmob(????)] feature would be better to use.

For example.

[@onkillmob(Oma)]
#IF
check [101] 0
RANDOM 25
#ACT
set [101] 1
give swordofwargod 1
#SAY
\ \
You killed the Oma. Congrats.\ \
<Okay i

variables are used easily if they are kept in check and they cannot be spammed. using oma as the everyday form of the mob could possably lead to trouble.. but if you use oma99 and have 20 spawn in BW it could take some time to get the count up and reduce the chance of spammin the server with variable calculations.

also it mite be easier to use the random feature... but thats not a killcount quest as requested :p
