Seems in certain places it happens all the time.

Pt is a good example when your comming up to a area full of minos/windmino etc usually triggers.But if your on a slow killing chara sometimes its just imposible to do.

However now and again you jsut simply get imposible ones like kill 20left guards in 3 mins on a slow killing chara this is a nightmare.

Its a nice addition. However if you are a tao soloing you are not going to get this extra exp if you are hunting where you level is e.g. 40+ tao in PB.

I think it may need looking into but its nice to have.

It use to work alot, but was used to exploit, and exploited it did, so i think it's been made rare for the chain to pop

It is completely random mate. Place I have seen it pop up the most is mineral mines.

It does tell you what mob you have to kill of you look at chat as soon as you see the quest activate you will see it.

i really didn't get it why it triggered.. i hunting in bichon mines and i thought that it was triggered by making multiple kills at a time of the same mob but then i didn't understand why i get it triggered only twice since it should have had to came up much more the twice.. anyhow it was a nice idea to have such a thing.

it could / should be looked it cause it is a nice feature which could help to balance the war issues we have atm.. just allow it to work with warriors and make it activate after x kills.. so that when you lvl for a long time you start getting advantages

You cant trigger them. Think of it like drops medium rare. You never know which mob is going to drop a lot of things at once. You never know which mob is going to trigger a kill chain.

The quests were exploited a lot without being reported. You could put your idea in the other section. I suppose it might be nice for lower levels who like grinding solo. People seem to get to 40 quite fast though so unless its a very simple adjustment it will be quite low down on the things to do list.

Anyone know why sometimes kill chains work for the entire group and other times not? Also sometimes killing the mobs doesn't work unless you hit first. Some places are completely devoid of kill chains also.

All I can tell you is that chain quests were bugged and exploited hugely without being reported in the early weeks of server. The group chain was part of the bug.Team took full responsibility for not doing their job thoroughly and all the exploiters patted themselves on the back for getting away with it.
You would have to make a note of which maps these still not right quests happen in date time and which mobs. Report it in the bug section and it will go on the things to do list. Agree its a nice little addition

Some are group kill chains other are only for you. So sometimes you will only receive the exp buff instead of the whole group. I'm really not sure on what set's these chains off as they can happen when I am luring up in PT and haven't killed or attacked anything yet.

EDIT : Don't forget those people who exploited got bugger all in the way of punishment so if you find a bug pm me, I'll exploit it. (And get others to join in as well) I mean cmon guys, you need to punish cheats, exploiters, bug abusers etc otherwise everyone will be at it and server will die... Look at the Firm for example, they are still killing a very bugged and broken boss... Yims, or is that sorted yet and the clone actually behaves as it was intended? They also abuse a 12 year old warring system. But this is fiiine cos it's TF.

Wonder what useless ballocks tomorrows update will bring, a new cave? Some new monsters? How bout some new skills? Or wait, how bout fixing and sorting **** already in game? No? OK, I'll **** off then.

so this is a bug? you mentioned that it should be pointed out.. if so i will immediately.. i thought it was a feature.

any how:

happened 4 times now for me: in bichon mines and also in connection path to oma caves.. happened killing zombie1, zombie2 and bonefighter

Saw a few of TheFirm is SV safezone, their gear is ridiculously over powered. Im presuming a lot of them items have come from killing the bugged boss repeatedly. Its too late to do anything about it now its though, its already messed up the server. They've nerfed the other bosses drops so they pretty much just drop benes and pots whilst that boss is dropping descent gear like crazy. I really appreciate them running this server but I agree with you, they need to get the basic stuff sorted foremost.

Its probably because we hunt the best dropping boss ingame pretty much on a daily basis...the bugged boss you are on about drops crap and has the odd good drop.
