kind of stuck

So i started a tao after near 7 years away from mir scene, stuck on quests not really sure where to level im only lvl 10 ish. where should i go first?

take time to examine the quest panel Q and follow the 'story quest line', the other quests are not that important

I think right click in the panel puts/removes the quest in view on screen, bottom three buttons filter quests

probably seven yrs back the Q panel wasn't three, also this particular server (I think) customized it beyond the stock issue

don't forget to join newbie guild for extra exp and the guild chat (in green), after outdoor mobs you go to oma cave and do the quests offered at the entrance (never played tao but believe it is all the same at this level)

unless you are power player and have ambition to catch up to be visible in ranks, I'd advise to stick with the story quest line (with the catch up exp, you level way too fast and have to make the decision to stick with the quests even if you have outleveled the caves, I mean, what is new here, same dilemma you get on just about every server)
I started late and played it somewhere in between and lost the point to stay on the server at lev26 (as the caves are stock euro and warriors nuff as always, nothing to write home about as they say, taos rule the server I gather)

also, try to read discord for help, that's where all the action is, gl with that
