tryed new char, no guards in altis (hard to survive ^^) any mob is inviseble for me.
u changed mob spawn right ? more and new mobs seen since now

i gave up waiting for this server a long time ago, should live test it instead of all this closed beta rubbish, nobody will wanna play by time its released -_- which is a shame because ur other server was good

I have been a loyal member with xtreme for about 7 years, and to be honest, i have to agree with Grim here, I know of many who are not playing simply because of the way its being tested. People dont want to play for it to be shut offline and having to wait weeks, sometimes months to get to play again.

It really is a shame that Xtreme cant be like others and just open it live, do reboots to fix bugs then do a final wipe on proper release.

Andy/Sam/Whoever is in charge, please rethink the way your going about this, i can guarantee you'll have more players testing.

total waste of time been waiting years for this to be finished... even paid money to get on early still waiting years down the line.

yeah it would of been alot of people who also paid was only 5 pounds but i guess the amount of people who did actually pay it will all add up

i'd play xtreme if they released Taral again, the carebears killed xtreme with the closure of taral.

Last time i spoke to Andy on skype he was testing a new set of kings files and i believe thats what he means by "new server engine", basically there will be some new features and improvements on the new files.
These files have unknown limitations at the moment but i guess the more he converts / translates the files the more he will reveal and find out based on the files.

Third, Kaos will be running on a new server engine, it was something that I was testing and converting towards back in January before we found out our exciting news, this will still be the case, other servers out there, offer a server engine last built in march 2009, our server will be running on a engine last touched (at the earliest) in February 2011. Lots of performance tweaks to say the least.

At a guess he could be running these files or something similar, so if your looking for details on the engine have a look at this thread: Files dated 06/07/2011

This information will follow very soon, Kaos is nothing like any other Mir3 server, It's quite literally a new game built on the Mir3 engine.

It will not be a carebear server.

Kaos has been designed from the ground up to be all about the fighting, you will choose a side right from the very beginning of your characters existence. You will have to battle players and monsters for control of different provinces, and if that's not enough, the entire world (minus faction captial cities) is completely open pvp, you even get experience for killing other players.
Alot of the original PvP design was heavily influenced by Taral (back in 2008 we had a PvP server) and has been built upon since then and influenced by other forms of PvP and Mass PvP elements.

In short, kill every opposing faction player you come across, and level-up for your trouble ;)
