I am start a pole here for my server as the player count atm is extremely low, and tbh isnt worth the effort I am putting in.

However .........

I know ALOT of people prefer Medium - High rate servers

I am wonders would you play if the EXP of the server was increased ... please post your comments and thoughts. Alot of issues have been or are being resolved with the server.

Thanks

please state if you want the exp to STAY at x 4

/Kit

I voted for x64 reason behind this, there are no really high rate server's there haven't been really any good one's since RND 1.9 or first torozor that have really been up to any "High" standards, yes there's a 1k stat cap but imo thats super high 600dc's more than enough and level 400's fine if you look at it.

I think your better asking whether the people who vote for x8 etc would also play a x64 server.

Because...

If you have 10 votes for 'x8' and..
If you have 7 votes for 'x64'

You may find that picking the x64 might be the best idea because alot of the x8 may also play the x64.

High rate seems to be be the most popular at the moment., unfortunatly.

Would be excellent fun as x64, but you guys should try it as it is now. A fun break from all those 'high rate' servers that have been released lately.

surely if u changed the EXP ur gonna have to redo all the items and mobs lol

i guess it depends on the reasons u made the server, but id probably stick to wotever my 1st idea was

the sever goes to how the "maker" wants it to be, theres not rly many added items into the game to redo, its a first time server so low rate is better for ur first server so u can gather wots wot and know how to do it wen it comes to a high rate server

to support X64 u wud have to add XXX ammount of items to keep upto date with levels 80+ and more maps and the current map maker uv got isnt exacly very quick (no offence) (also dont say u make some as iv tryed doing it and cnt seem to grasp it still)

still a first time server, not much understanding in the files at the min so it kinda drawn between to pillars, also maps is the main issue aswell, not many new lvling areas, so by the time they have suited u with more maps to lvl / hunt in the server wud of been down about 4-5 months, thats after working round the items, the mobs, then the maps. the problem shouldnt always be the ammount of players playing it, it just depends on if the host / creature are willing to show how much effort they are putting into the server and the hosting

I would say x16 tops you put it into x64 you then have to compete with oldskool mirrevenge and daydies servers and you will also need to totally remake i would say x8 personally.

i say as it is, w8 for ppl to go then bring it bk more items better lvl but higher exp, that way it gives her chance to get into making the server aswell as get everythin sorted now then its less buggy wen / if it goes higher

Alot of people wont come back to a server after a owner has let it run dead.

never really understand why ppl think high rate is diff than low rate cuz at the end of the day its basicly the same..

Wow your lvl 400 on a high rate and only lvl 40 on a low rate but if u think about it you spent the same amount of time getting to that lvl... so there is no real diffenece.

With private servers you can get to points in mir that you wont ever reach on Euro, now with me its more appealing to get on a high rate and get a unrealistic level/stats than i could on Euro. If i wanted to grind out to just achieve level 40 id stick with Euro. Dont know if you'll understand what i mean but i do :x.

i know wot u mean, but still, trying to accomidate them with items and everythin requiers alot more effort, more mobs, etc which means server down do 3 months+ of updates then see what the current state is like, but also wud loose the fair few players on the server atm, as ppl were gettin rdy to leave wen they saw this thread

if it was to go to x16+ by the time they have items and areas to suit players over 50 there wud b a dif server out by then which means they wud of lost players they have now and wud loose out on most of the other players because of the new server

Not really look at Oldskool (I havent actually played on this server) but by the looks and comments its jammed full of stuff/items/mobs etc and has very (if any) downtime and constantly gets updated and the user count is at an average high.. It's just about planning really.

I only really know one server that is succesful and is at a medium exp rate and that P69, but thats just because the realiability of it.. Take a look at these low rate servers; LOCMS, HELL, RaGEZONE AND Pongo they are of a low user count and usually are, last thing you need is another low rate server which by odds is heading for a low user count/fail.
