Lag?

Got random ass lag on the server, was smooth as butter all day til about an hour ago when I now keep freezing every 6-10seconds for about 2 seconds.

Also I can't even get onto the Mir Chronicles website, had to get to this forum throug LOMCN.

Yeah I'm with Virgin.
But it's only mir and the website that's messing up. Everything else works fine.

These two both said Virgin and I've spoken to two others ingame who are both on Virgin and having same issue!

Site should be fine soon, it was a DNS issue related to the company that just the site

Still unsure what caused the lag on the server, I can connect and am lag free.

It might be weather related (just had thunder and lighting in my location)
Might be an ISP node issue
There is a few things it could be but most of them are out or our control.

Also virgin seem to be **** :P

They seem to be, but I have no issues logging on to other game servers today, would it not be the same across the board if it were Virgin?

im on virgin also thought it was just me been doing checks left right and centre here, paying for 100mb connection and receiving 106mb, everything is fine with any other game just seems to be mir its lagging on.

OI Virgins alright usually faultless for me but today also experiencing the **** connection! Check the Virgin status thing for your area on the site, heavy winds will be effectig it somehow

I am sorry to say there is little we can do until virgin sort out whats going on
The server is running fine and has no errors
The host is reporting no issues
No none virgin players are reporting any lag

We can keep an eye on it and will try and improve things but it seem to be related to virgin and how they route their customers to the server location

Anyone on virgin with lag try using a program called WTFast (it will not get you banned) it will use a different route to the server and may improve things for you
