You've confused me I thought it would just be a case of doing a quick format of my computer then installing Windows 7 the same way I would install Windows XP and then install drivers?

Please correct me if I'm wrong because I just got a blank DVD and I'm writing Windows 7 to it as we speak.

Damn burn process failed, twice :(!

turned write speed down and burned fine going to try install now.

Shaun your getting confused mate you dont need to imprt anything, Your bios will copy over without you doing nothing just go ahead and install it like any other os, Burn the ISO file to disk put it in reboot launch the cd at startup then go thorugh the installation, make sure you either format or delte your old windows partition then install fresh windows 7. Thats all you need to do, Craig all you need to do after that buddy is put the disc in with the mobo drivers on, Also get AVG or something.

Fair play mate it has been known people have edited thier ISO files to put thier drivers on there instead of loading them on there once its installed. Maybe thats along the lines of what you was thinking :)

it was this sentence that got me a little bit "Processor will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel EM64T-enabled BIOS" thought i was going to have to incorperate the bios into windows 7 in order for it to work. its ok im not that bad now alls clear for me. i just thought i was going to have to do it so the Motherboard would power up properly.

i get what i mean lol, lets just leave it at that as im no good at explaining it tbh ><

@Zen2 I've just formatted my brothers laptop and stuck windows 7 on it but, the activator I used on my PC worked fine and says it's permanently activated but I tried to use it on the laptop and it's not activating it, do you have one that could possibly work on the laptop?

Thanks in advance.
