Anyone recommend a gaming laptop for £300. Not looking to build one myself or anything just want to buy it whole.

Cheers

You'd be hard-pressed to find something that qualifies as a 'gaming' laptop for that kind of price, unless you're just talking about being able to play mir?

What do you want to play on it?

In the current market a low-end gaming laptop at minimum would set you back about £450, you'd probably get a 9300M GS with that which isn't a bad GPU. But the moment you start going lower in price you're stuck with onboard, with the focus on cpu + memory.

isnt to bad, its £40 over budget, but the ones iv looked at on a few sites for £300 ur only going to get single core. so for the extra 40, u get the AMD dual core. it not amazing brilliant, but its not bad ither.

mine plays all games out atm, and is slightly lower than that, so that shouldnt have a problem playing any games

What are you on about?? Could you have found a worse laptop for gaming! There's a reason no GPU is listed, it doesn't have one! I even checked a review of it:

"And considering that it pulls video memory from main RAM, it will never be appropriate for playing 3D online games; in some of our gaming tests it registered appalling framerate scores, in the single digits (basically slideshows)."

I don't know what 'current' games you think you can play adequately on a laptop with a lower spec than that. Are you sure your laptop, although possbily worse off in processing power doesn't have a GPU? If you want a laptop for gaming you need a decent graphics card.

Please don't buy the above laptop if you're planning on playing anything more than say... mir.

I can go a little over budget but not miles. I dont want to go out waste **** loads of money on a laptop that wont run nothing. Thats why ive asked here as lomcn members know alot more about pc's and laptops than i ever will.

Edit: I dont play WOW,Mir aything like that. Into First Person Shooters and have games like toontown installed and able to run.
