Now... I realise I made a similar thread a few months back but I didn't manage to find a laptop that fitted my needs with the information given.

Now... I'm willing to spend roughly £800 I could go a little bit above or below ;)

I'm looking for a laptop that will be able to run WoW - World Of Warcraft Smoothly and not lag much..

I will probably use it for other things apart from games but I'm looking for a laptop that is more suited towards games than work etc.

Any help would be much appreciated - I'd rather I was given links directly to the laptop you had in mind rather than just sites ;)

Thanks in advance

if your looking for a half decent laptop, try the new dell gaming laptops they seem alright, but now urban will probably come along and blow me out of the water with this suggestion ^____^

I'd go with a Dell laptop. Good build quality & support.

My advice:

-Get Centrino (Pentium-M if you can). It's just totally needed ;)

-Get the best CPU & GFX you can. Ram & Storage can be upgraded later.

-Think about weight and bits that might fall off. Seriously.

-Also, make sure you can easily replace the power cable.

Edit:

It's quite a bit above 800, but it's a well-rounded machine. You would need to select the nVidia graphics when configuring it, mind you. The X300 sucks ;)
