The bug whereby even if you don't get the last hit on someone you get the murder is still ingame. e.g. if youre bashing someone and they go white and you stop, but then their mate deliberately finishes them off you get murder. this was being actively exploited last night in gi ryoong by forsaken/damage inc.

Can you remember what "their mate" was finishing them off with - it could be that I've only fixed this for melee hits and spell finishers are still bugging out.
Was fighting in BW storage upstairs ( contest area) against forsaken, didn't notice till about a hour later but I had lost 1 luck and had not killed anyone else. Good thing WL benes are lucky lol.
Could they have tt'd as they died? I tried this last night getting the last hit with melee, blizzard, FF and poisoncloud and i got the last hit murder every time
It is possible but its contest area you wouldn't drop anything. What about if I hit them they TT and immediately hit an archer? do I get the kill. I haven't tested this.

It's been around for ages, and exploited for too long.
If you kill someone, in a warzone for example.
They respawn on low HP in town, their friend then gives a "finishing blow" that kills them in 1 hit, be it FlameField or a Flaming Sword, to give a high damage. The person who killed them in the warzone gets the murder.
The same happens if you hit someone... they then ran off, and their mate got the finishing blow on them. You get the murder

aye its not the "last hit"
Its the first hit on a revived player that if 1 hit kills them sends the kill to the person that first killed them.
I've spent most of this evening on this - tried about 10 different scenarios - could not recreate this...
For now all I can do (and have done) is:
- Reset last hitter on death so if they die again it doesn't remember who killed them first
- No deaths in safezone fullstop
Hopefully these 2 will sort this - if not I'd need an exact way to recreate the bug or I'm stumped.

I'm sure if you messaged someone in Team, they can help replicate it for you on the live server.
