Ledu Gate

Ok, so iv got all the new game gates, the new M2Server and the ledu client, iv got the IP changer and the mir config thing to change the ledu client... so here's the thing,

I run all the server files/gates and open up the server, if i use the 1.4 client i can get on the server no probs... if i use the ledu client, it does not log in, i input the account details and nothing happens..

so i know the server is up and working, so whats up with my ledu... iv changed everything to comply with ktest and 127.0.0.1 as the IP so i can test it off line, and iv set it as port 7000 in the mir config... so any suggestions as to whats going wrong? :cow:

Where do u find the Ledu client files from ive searched and searched and havent found them yet plz could someone lead me in the right direction?

Fkin hell, ledu is a CLIENT!!!!!!!!!! it aint any files, it is just a differnet cleint wich supports alot of new things, once again, its a client!

I have the Ledu client, i want to know y it dont work?? not where to get it.. i know what it is :P

(btw, just re-downloaded ur ledu client and changed IP's, ports and server name but still cant get through the login gate with the ledu client, but can get in with the 1.4 client.... any ideas??? )

Sorry to say this but a client is made up of files it aint made of thin air and i did say in my post "Ledu Client Files" read back if u dont believe i said it i was asking for the right thing and u had a strop for nothing.

Fine, i will try be abit more :calm:.

Check in the setup.txt if the old client check is enabled, that may cause it not to work, PM me the server IP and name and i will try making a ledu exe, and see if it is client side what is wrong or server side.

Ok, so still aint solved the above problem yet, but now i have another proble, wen i change all the IPs from 127.0.0.1 to 81.159.23.94 and change the name from Ktest to Ghost, i get a load of errors from the Loginsrv and the DBserver.. Whats going on?? lol.. some times i feel i should just go back to sleep :P
Any1 got any files ready for online use or somin? i downloaded the offline files to start with, then got the new game gate and the new M2server and the 3IN1 thing also so far... an suggestions? :htard:

u missed some ips and server names, thats why u are getting the error in LoginSrv and DBserv... with the Ledu client, u need to first get a blank ledu unpacked exe...jsut find anyone, then open up the leduipchanger, the first button(nearest to the left) click that and click the ledu exe. now ype in your server ip at the top and the server name at the bottem. now click the second button(closest one to the right) a box should come up, then thats done click the exit. no open up mir config, and follow the screen**** the milofoxbur gave, i dont know were it is atm tho.

Yeh, did all that with the IP changer previously, so since u put the thought in my mind, i went through the entire Leud.exe with the hex editer and changed anything to do with Foundation, ktest or DSVF to Ghost and changed anything to do with 212.158.203.78 (which wasnt in there anyways) and 127.0.0.1 to 81.159.23.94.... so im hoping that will work now...

Aye, good point, ok... The first 2 error messages occure when i run the Loginsrv, the third 1 happens when i close the Loginsrv and the forth and fith happen when i start up the DBserver...

So, uv seen the errors and uv seen whats in my config files... any other way i could help u guys help me? ^_^

well, i did all that, any idea what i'm missing??
iv got them all working fine offline, but as soon as i change all of the IPs from 127.0.0.1 to 81.159.23.94 it gives me them erros :spop:

Is there anything else u can think of that im missing.. like maybe an IP isnt set at 127.0.0.1 when being used offline, so im not looking for it or replacing it? or maybe u can see somin in my config files above that i am missing...

By the way i sorted the orig problem with the Ledu gate... so i just need to be able to put the sever online now... anything would help loads thanks

All ip's wich use port 7000-7300 (i think) need to be your global IP, others can stay 127.0.0.1 i think.

I am already undergoing making my own server and it's called Ghost. I started it a little while back. Don't want ur's getting mixed up wiv mine

:O OMG! I chose the name coz i bought Ghost Recon 2 on the Xbox when it came out and it was on the top of my games pile :P
But ill gladly change the name to somin else for ya ^_^ sorry for the mix up... I'll be happier also if you have any ideas as to y my server aint going live? what have you got in ur config files?

and TY for the advice ingel, ill give it another go and see what i get
