Legend of Mir: Chronicles
The Legend of Mir II Chronicles is a private Massive Multi-User Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) based in an ancient oriental civilization where you can play as one of four classes (Warrior, Wizard, Taoist and a Rogue) to harness new skills, gain experience, strength and respect of fellow players by hunting and destroying an evil presence that shadows the provinces of Mir.

Basic Information:
IP Address: Server is not currently live.
Experience: x2 of Euro Mir (not USA).
Drops: Custom, but coincides with Low Rate feel.
Item Stats: Euro Mir Item stats with additions for Rogue.

Features:
- 1024*768 Resolution
- 16-bit Colours
- Windowed Mode
- Mir3 Maps and Monsters Including AI's
- Official Mir2 Skills (Rage, ProtectionField) Including custom made skills also (GreatSoulFireBall, HammerOfJustice
- Rogue class, including their own unique stat system (Cunning)
- Guild Restrictions (Limits the amount of players per guild)
- Beginners Guild (Providing a boost in exp)
- Player Stalls/Mark (To provide a means to sell items for both gold and gamegold)
- Mount System

Initial Release:
The initial release will contain content to level 40/45 this will include classic hunting grounds such as:
- Oma Cave
- Bichon Mines
- Wooma Temple
- Red Moon Valley
- Zuma Temple
- Mineral Mines
- Insect Cave
- Bug Cave
- Stone Temple
- Black Dragon Dungeon

Along with a few additional Hunting Grounds using the new Mir3 Maps system and colours:
- Ant Coloney
- Jinchon Temple

Gems/Orbs are going to be rare/hard to craft and their success rate will be substantially lower than on other "Low Rate" servers.

Slow/Attack Speed have been altered slightly; the more A.Speed you have the less chance Slow has of working (As increased A.Speed has a direct effect on the amount of times you hit and with slow this can be over powered).

Current Rogue Skills:
- Fatal Sword (Random increased damage attack)
- Double Slash (Does two powerful strikes one after the other)
- Haste (Increases Attack Speed)
-Light Body (Increases Agility)
- Heavenly Sword (Attacks three places in a row)
- Poison Sword (Does a semi-circle of poison, requires grey poison)
- Trap (Traps a single mob for x amount of time)
- Stealth (Hides player from monsters and can slowly move around)
- Cresent Slash (Mass attacks a 4x4 radius in front of the player)

New Skills
There are many of the official Mir2 skills found in-game e.g. Rage/ProtectionField, Curse/PoisonCloud and MeteorStrike/Blizzard, but in addition to those you will find:
- Great Soul Fire Ball (Throws 3 soul fire balls in one go)
- Hammer OfJ ustice (A strong attack that can cause the opponent to become confused)
- Magic Amplifier (Increases a wizards magical power for x amount of time)
(I will get some screenshots together for these).

Redesign of Classic Bosses
Woomataurus and Zumataurus have been redesigned to make them more challenging.
Woomataurus:
- Uses thunderbolt to hit ranged targets.

Zumataurus:
- Uses FireBang and FireWall to hit ranged targets.

Current Status:
Monster Database: 95%
Item Database: 90%
Magic Database: 95%
MonGen: 60%
Drops: 30%
NPC: 60%
Quest: 0% (I am planning on adding Quest System over the next few weeks).

I plan to get a test server up at some point tomorrow (23rd June 2012) to try and balance the classes a little and receive some feedback on the classes. This will not be a reflection of the live server as it is a different set of server files.

Just working on test server atm, its not at all a reflection of how the server will actually be, but it will help us gather some information on the classes etc.

Keep an eye on the forum I should be putting it up in next 30mins or some hopefully.

Having a few technical difficulties at the moment with DoubleSlash and Haste :P, me and Chili are working on it, but we likely to open test server tomorrow ><

How so this is just a beta test at the moment correct me if im wrong also all the stuff pointed out in the advertisement are what anyone could put in an heroes advert (apart from the new class as yet). But i have no doubt in the near future it will become a good server, lets get testing to get ready for the real server :D can see it being a BIG success.

well im a mir 3 player, i dont play mir2 but i like the sound of this one... no mir 3 servers currently up that are worth playing so i was looking forward to this

Just an update report.

- added dark body and mana eater skills (gonna leave it there for the initial release)
- added new ai to wt and zt to make them a little more challenging
- currently adding an achievement system (much the same as Xbox or ps3) where you recieve a trophy for completing something... E.g killing zt = Zuma Slayer trophie and would unlock something
- done more of the mongen and drops still quite abit to do though.

Once they are done I'm going to work on quest system which will work along side my achievement system and add ai' for new jinchon mobs, then I think we are good for beta/live of the actual server.

Still aiming for the 15th of July and so far things are looking good.

looks and sounds really good, my only concern is the rate. Just dont know if I have it in me to level to 40 again at 2x euro rate

what made you move to SQL? :X

Mainly due to the current systems limitations... I plan to add Archers as soon as we get their images and would like to add their own stat again like i did with Rogues... Problem with current is when I add it I would have to delete the CharaDB (meaning everyones hard work would be wiped) so it could generate a new one with the new stats...

MSSQL I could just run a statement to INSERT the new stats required...

If that makes sense :P

I was giving it a little test... and... if youv played 4Heroes, the leveling is easier to 40 then that at 2x euro... 38/39/40 drastic drops on 4heroes was lower than x2 euro it would seem :P

Shameless bump. I'll prob be playing, nothing else out there atm.
