I have downloaded and configured this auto patcher for my server this is how i have it set...
Mir2Patch.ini
Code:
[PATCH_FTP]
ServerIP=127.0.0.1
Port=21
userid=user
passwd=pass
BaseDirectory=/AutoPatch/
ListFile=!plist.lst
!plist.lst
Code:
c 2005-1-22 5:40 198 ftp.ini /ftp.ini
The auto patcher connects and downloads the file but after it downloads i get this error....
patch error.jpg

Any ideas?

Cheers
Chris

leos auto patcher doesn't connect to HTTP web servers, only FTP servers

Code:
c 2005-1-22 5:40 198 ftp.ini /ftp.ini

Only thing I can see wrong there is the 5:40 - it should be 05:40.

Otherwise just remember to use the same tab spacings as in the example !plist.txt, and keep the autopatch program inside your LOM folder.

I use BulletProof FTP server set to the patch folder.

in the Mir2Patch.ini mine is setup like this

Code:
[PATCH_FTP]
ServerIP=*****
Port=21
userid=*****
passwd=*****
BaseDirectory=/
ListFile=!plist.ini

so it might be that because your using BaseDirectory=/AutoPatcher/ .... try changing it to just BaseDirectory=/

P.S. its a really great app :D

Heres the correct way to list a file in the !plist.lst
but that wont affect the client connecting to the autopatcher.
Code:
c 2004-09-26 00:49	77				ftp.ini			/ftp.ini

but make try changing your BaseDirectory=/AutoPatcher/ to BaseDirectory=/

Well heres a small program which might help ya ^^

1. Open program (plistgenerator.exe)
2. Delete everything from the 'directory' textbox
3. Drag your file onto the 'files to be added to !plist' area and drop.
4. Press go
5. A compressed file will appear in the same directory as the program
6. Stick the file on your FTP
7. Copy and paste the line of the !plist you need from the textbox into your actual !plist.

Gl :)

theres a few errors that cause the patcher to keep re-patching the files ...

The date format has to be YYYY-MM-DD its sometimes comes out YYYY-M-D , same happens with the time also.
sometimes it places a ":" after the time.

Hope you can fix it because its a real handy app, Would save loads of time and effort :)
