Seriously. NO CAP
just make levelling take SO much more!!!
if 39 to 40 requires 10mill exp,
make 40 to 41 20mill exp,
41 to 42 35mill.
Make it a long ting

I dont think there will be any real need for a level cap on V2, the only reason some people made it as high as level 54 was the high exp rate on the AceM2 server. This ment that those who leveled fastest had the twin benefit of having access to higher level skills/items and didn't have to share caves with many other players meaning they could hunt faster and level even quicker than those a few levels lower.

Sam has said that the higher exp rate on the V1 server was not his decision

Background context:
The current AceM2 Server (in terms of the rate of exp, drops, mob strength etc) IS NOT MINE, I had very little say in the original content that when live
Sam

Meaning that we should not expect the same high exp rate to be available on V2.

According to mir2resource, a basic mino should give 1,380 exp, but i have a screenshot from this server showing i'd get 11,600 from them. Thats x8.5 , if that was the exp multiplication rate for the whole server, then even those people who managed to get the 3,700,901,900 exp (thanks again mir2resource http://www.euromir2resource.info/guides/exp_list.php )to reach level 55 by the end of the server (and i think it was only 1) would only have reached around lvl 46 had they managed to get the exact same exp during the same time.

But, since they probably wouldn't have been able to gain the same amount of exp (due to not outleveling caves before other players started hunting in them/spending more time killing lower lvl mobs due to being lower lvl themselves) then it would probably have been a stretch to get much above lvl40.

And if the highest level ingame when the server had been taken offline had been lvl40, would anyone have made this thread?

post makes a hell of alot of sense.

the only thing is i dont think many people want euro exp rates, maybe x2/3 would be acceptable. this game would be alot mroe fun with the new skills advertised put in at easily obtainable levels, maybe start them from level 24/5?

I agree.

I wasn't suggesting this server should be exact euro rates, altho i will admit that the end of my post did read more like that than i had ment it to.
