Just for clarification, this has been mentioned by people. It pops up every now and then completely at random(it seems) though this hasn't happened to me, I am able to replicate the bug entirely.
It seems when sending mail(from anywhere) if you have a friends list of more than 4 people(I am assuming 4 now looking back at screenshots) you get the lighting overlay bug when selecting a recipient. However when actually screenshotting it, it screenshots your screen displaying correctly.
