I'm sure there are sounds we could sacrifice... I know mace has its own effect but maybe there's one we can afford to lose easier?

You need to change the row of the wep you're replacing into your saber and then add the old wep as a new row to the end (i'm assuming).

Lighter note, I've got the sounds sorted. One for equiping, one for swinging and one for hitting.

I'll upload em, but i don't know how to assign new sounds without overwriting exisiting ones

I would personally find it funny, then when you lag vwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing, although it wouldn't do that would be funny if it did ^_^


And although I hate Starwars this is a new break through in new weapons coming to mir? There seem to have stopped apearing lately, but hopefully now there on the return *fingers crossed* ^_^

The glow looks perfect imo just freeken make it longer....Sounds are perfect Id love to see two warriors duke it out in jedi and sith cloths with the sounds.

Just a little bit more work on the detail of the corners and shape and it would be very good .

I have actually thought about compiling a new set of wil's with nothing but Star Wars Weapons and Armours, just for fun mind you. But if there will actually be interest then I'll give it more attention than just "now and again" :whips:

So far I have Darth's Helmet and Armour to work on, I've got a StormTrooper Helm to add, various LightSaber's, the Dual Saber is coming along, but does look pants to fight with.

Now, if only there was a way to link spells with weapons. Could use the fireball images as a rough Blaster shot

Your right. If I did all this, someone could run a Starwars Server... But why stop at just weapons. If I have to alter the Hum to create the armours, surely the same principle would work with the Mob files?? Just create a whole new Mir... Same engine, different Game....

This would take a considerable amount of time though, but it could be a nice hobby

Quick method? Find an image you like, convert it to 256 colour. Make it look nice, resize and add to the appropriate wil file.

Better method? I'm sure there a guide somewhere on here, if not, I'll write a brief one up for folks... It is actually easier than it seems.

Yes it is too rough, and i think it shouldnt go that round'ish.
