lil problem

ive had this problem for some time now, doesnt really annoy me any more as im use to it, but if u could try and fix, or help me with it , many thanks.

Right, problem is my comp freezes now and again, its kinda predictable, u know when its going to do it as things just stop, as u go to click the close button, and it doesnt, u can still move the mouse, but your desktop is frozen, then if u click a few times, BEEP, freezes,
if anyone has had same problem or has any ideas, on how to fix this annoying lil problem, cheers in advanced

Tried running ScanDisk recently? Also try a memory tester.

Or, you could just do it the right way, and fully re-install your pc ;p

Scan for viruses/spyware using MS Antispyware and AVG Antivirus in safe mode. If it doesn't help, most likely either you have spyware/viruses wich can't be removed automatically by programs and need to be manually removed (search for guides on google), or your windows installation is ****ed up.

this happens to me, very rarely, but only when i go balls out with the applications and run too much stuff by accident, and it unfreezes after a few seconds and you're free to close down other applications and pc isn't laggy afterwards but yeah, that's me, have you tried waiting for it to unfreeze?
