I have created a guide to help people set up port forwarding on a Linksys router. It may be useful to people using other routers, however the pictures and specific directions are for a Linksys router.

Sweet guide, Can you just top it off with putting how where to put the new IPS ect please?

Do you mean where to put them in the server files? If so, I will write a seperate guide for that probably tomarrow if I have time.

sux irl tbh i have a new linksys`s router with 2 phone ports on its and updated version from this guide and its a ***** to get it working when i configure local area conny to static i.p my whole machine looses connection (others on netwrok dont) but the server runs ok like this part from me and the public get conny cloded (obiusly bacuase there is no net when u do thes configs) ne 1 help lol crystal!!1

EDIT!: in the the drop down box there is a list "Static I.P" PPpOEp or w/e it is theres a few u can select i used to disk to set my router up iv forwarded my ports ect my drop down menu is set to "Obtain and I.P automaticly" wot shud i do lol maybe some 1 cud take a look @ my router version via vnc or somet?:D ty

If you can not connect to the server, but others can, then you will have to install MS Loopback, or get a router wich supports LoopBack.

lol no i cant connect or others cant, i cant set my protool to static i.p other wise the comp goes offline
