linux/unix webserver case sensitive

i've got a web server on my nas drive and i'm hosting a few of my sites, but a couple of them are quite large and have a mixture of case sensitivity (would take me years to go through the files) is there any way to turn case sensitivity off on a linux/unix server so i have put in HTTP://fArRil.com/InDex.html and it still work?

Windows does it so it was always fine on my wamp server.

You could run a command to change any upper case letters to lowercase.

thanks yeah it does. is there no way to turn this off/on though? seems abit illogical to have it case sensitive, and i've never seen a web address be case sensitive?

edit: just testing lomcn.co.uk/FORUM and it doesn't work. guess linux does force case sensitivity.
