Exactly. I know how long these things take to do... not long.
If over 1 year they couldn't spare a few hours to implement things that added to the game play aspect then the server team isn't a great as one might expect.
It seems they've focused on moving away from mir in every way possible, starting with and continuing to care more of the way the server looks and less with how it is to play. New interfaces and spells are all well and good, but if no one wants to stick around because the gameplay is tedious and unadventurous then its all a waste.
A few of the features such as the group advantages are great and also the different coloured text for each item is great, but could be explored further to create something much better. It seems as though they've settled.
I get there new files, i get they remade everything. But lets face it, the files everyone else uses are pretty much the same and quite frankly draw in more players. If it ain't broke, don't fix it?
With coders like yours, there are infinite possibilites on your server... yet i see maybe a maximum of 10 new ideas that have been coded in.
