hiya does any one need a observer for there server ive played mostly all the privet servers and i played eruo mir 2 ive benn playing mir 4 7 years so a while then i dont want much to do just to have fun i have load of ideas 4 event so hope to have fun with the gms of the server im easy to get on with a like to have a laugh and joke with hope to hear for someone soon punk:

this has to be 1 of the stupidest posts iv ever read on this forum & iv been a member since 2003.

nobody would ever just let a random person they dont know be a GM on there server to "observe" whats going on and run "events"

an observer can be a good thing you idiots.

1. they will be the first to find out bugs
2. they can do a thorough evaluation of the servers current progress and tell the developers what needs changing.
3. they can host events more often as some developers dont have the time.

I would hire one myself, but i dont think ill have the time to carry on with my server for a long time since im in the army the 16 of this month.

you aint getting the point. who ever hire's a stranger tobe a Observer is crazy, were not sayin it aint a good idea all we're sayin no'one wil. unless he has friends who are making server which i doubt IE RL friends

Also a observer is still classed as a gm and players expect them to behave in a certain manner.

1. Quite wrong in a few ways, the players are more likely to find bugs as they are playing the game whereas the Observer is just there to be told by the players and to keep a watchful eye over players.
2. This is true but most people are lazy and wouldnt even bother to do this.
3. Not true, an event cud b a small thing such as setting the EXP Rate to 2x etc. Only the host can do that.

tbh you dont even need a a GM to host a EVENT. just do an ivasion at MW or summat like that

And, yes okay, a stranger May be a m8 you havnt met, however he could also be a rapist you've never met, or a peodophile, or a complete and utter twat, or.... the list is endless.

Plus events arent exactly hard to comeby, I can think of about 5 straight away from top of head... all it sounds to me is your bored of playing mir, so you wanna run around being invisible following other players instead lol
