LogDataServer.exe

ok i have 1 problem, might not seem much to some ppl, but to me it is.

For some reason my LogDataServer.exe wont load up "Fully"
it minimises in the background as a "Process" but i cannot load it up to see that its "working"

its not recording no information from my server, i cannot check item drops or Trade screen trades, and its doing my head in, i have tried all compatability's with the LogDataServer.exe file, but still... nowt has worked, ne1 else got or had this problem or even know how to fix it.

Greatful in Advance for any help to solve this... thanks!

p.s i have checked all paths of the files, they are correct, just need the file to work and record all mob dropping, ppl dropping, death drops, NPC transfers and trade screens for items and cash

maybe its a router problem ,i have the same problem ,but on my main comp logfiles are ok ...

still havent figured out how to fix it

nope, the server is running completely off of its own 1mb line, no router, and its not networked either, the file works ok on other computers in the house, just not this 1, (most probably a setting) >_<

Hmm it sounds like something wrong with your paths/ip's to me =/. Try downloading some files like geoff's which you know that work, set them up and see if it works. If it works just copy the logdata folder from geoff's to your's and if it doesn't work then im not sure whats wrong m8.

before i had a router ,it always worked ,even for ei ,now both mir2 & ei ,dont make log files

Ack, there was something somewhere once about making programs run as processes - I think this setting must have been turned on for the logdataserver.exe on your PC. If you search google you might be able to find the article, sorry I cant help. :-/
