Ok started working on LOMCNs banners for the sections:

needing some ideas e.g. what pictures and so on atm i have only done the wording (3D) and im at work so kinda limited for now but working on it heres a rough low poly preview of the start for mir2

what you using? 3DSM 6?, also try redrawing the text, or using a bigger image import, would bump up the quality, or perhaps its just because its low poly.

cos its low poly doing the high poly one now and im using Blender3D its good for open source heres a pic ive seen people do with this program

I dont want to be nasty but the font doesnt look good. I mean yeah , its done with Max 3D but the size of the image you have to do is quite small so it wont look good with chucky writing although you can render the writing in a certain style then ading the picture in the background and kinda blending the writting with the background.But this is just my oppinion.

I think you should design the signatures in Adobe Photoshop and just practice different techniques in Max 3D just to get the hang of it.

Ill see what you come up with then ill make my enteries

That logo is so 2001. Simple is best, jagged budget stuff looks jagged and budget.

The logo itself actually looks pretty good, it's just a case of that this one hasn't been accurate traced, and rendered with no antialiasing, hence the apparent crappyness

thnx for opinions as i said its a rough and was done at work and btw its not 3D max its blender and if i wanted to do it in PS i would but atm im playing with 3D modeling and such working on rendering it better now and i like the font and its what im gonna use dont like it then make your own

I think it looks great! However it is in dire need of some antialiasing!

yea i suppose you could do it in photoshop and that one doesnt look all that atm. But wouldnt it look much better once he/she has applied AA, colour, texture, lighting and rendered it? a low poly doesnt really show ithe final outcome.
