Looking 2 buy a new PC

Ok,

I got a laptop atm and the clockspeed is 2.66Ghz Pentium4 Processor on it which is a 3year old laptop lol. I am thinking on getting an alienware PC -->http://www.alienware.co.uk/product_...PC-EU-A51-5500-R4&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT#pdp-nav

And the sp33d on that is 1.89Ghz O_O

I mean the laptop I got atm is alrite and since its a 3year old laptop its faster than that lol.

Have I jus got the wrong end of the stick here or sumthin??

Yes but the one your looking at buying has a IntelCore 2 Duo processor, which will be much better.

I'm not up to date with prices but I'd look about first for any better deals, from experience Alienware are more about looks than performance.

I compared it to the Dell XPS and theirs 300£ difference and the only difference between them is the HD Space.


I was looking at PC World, but We've bort 2 pc's from their and after about a year they die LOL


Could any of u help find me a gd PC ?

I have about a grand 2 spend on it so that should get a gd pc

Comparing dell's prices to alienware's is like saying a ferrari is about as much as a lamborghini.


They are rediculously overpriced.

Your best bet it to build your own, or get someone else to do it.

Tbh if I was 2 buy like a million pieces for the PC I have no motherboard(which would be like the same price as the comp)

and don't really know any1 that could do it lol.

You could build a PC that's cheaper AND WAY better performing than anything Dell or Alienware will put together for you.

You need to get a whole new laptop.

Ignore my earlier comments, I confused your thread with a PC thread.

Those 1.83 GHz processors DESTROY your 2.66. And when I say destroy, I mean vikings on a defenseless woman shelter kind of destruction.

Funnily enough Dell own Alienware now

The best bet is to always build your own, you get exactly what you want and you know exactly what has gone into it.
Not to mention the money you'll save!
