Looking For a Good Server

Hey folks, are there any good M2 servers running at the moment?

The rate doesn't matter too much but one requirement is that there are no donations for kit and levels. Donations to help with server maintenance are fine and I'd be glad to help. This isn't a dig at servers that sell characters and items I just can't devote my spare time to a server where player development rests largely on how much a person is willing to spend.

Donations only for exp adjusting pots. Nothing that will spoil the game totally like items and make it unfair.

Best of all, every1 starts off low. there will be a whipe after beta, and people will be notified 2 days before launch with time and date

i believe 4heroes reliys on donations.
this isnt a dig at 4heroes just saying ...
salvation sells items for cash but not a great deal.
just depends on how each server makes it for non donators to catch up/achieve etc as donators do.
best thing to do is dl a client and log on to all the server and have a chat with the players.
Just change the server .ini file to match the server

Last one I played was Zentaur Mir3 and the GM there will sell your character in an online auction once you stop playing for a while...

Yes i gave darkrealm to wayne to run but i still work on it from time to time.
Ive not taken anything back and i deffinatly will not ever stop advertising for it.

as we all no hathor was paul under a new name so players woud come back to his server after closing it n running off with ppls donaton money he will lie now and say its not but my ex was GM on there and guess what busted meight lol. salation server closed again and ppl who donated got robbed again and then i find out its bak open and start again with donations and basic kit. its an entire rip off server he even has the nerve to log on lomcn and claim all ideas for the server was his own well bull **** as your gm Dena was the brains and u take all the rewards you must think we stupid man. every npc,quest,cave,mob u rushed into game on reboots never worked dena had fix all your fked up mistakes every time for u so players wudnt slag u off n leave for better. well i wish i new then what i know now she shudnt of bothered and all ya good players have all left u to the few scum who dont lift a finger to help so g/l with server like getting blood from a stone with few ppl who think your god.

I think finding a mir - none donation server is very rare thesedays due to the fact people set them up BECAUSE they can get donations - it just depends how greedy the owner is

The worst are servers where you can donate for pro/para and new kit when its released before it can even drop, a decent server would be one where you could donate for like char titles/namecolors/x2 exp pots, nothing mmajorly unbalancing but enough to keep the server up..

I'd release my own server if I had the files and make it explicitly a low donation med rate server, which would likely blow all the other donation servers out of the water.

Elysium server is coming soon, which looks the most promising of the current servers.

All people running mir servers need donations to pay for a dedi. I love the game and id love to run a server for people for free. but £100+ a month on a dedi out of my pocket isnt something i could afford at the ripe old age of 17 lol. Used to be ok when people hosted from home n **** but those days are long gone.

Yeah don ations are needed, but come on, opening up donations for stuff thats going to majorly unbalance the game is retarded.. Taking FH as an example as its the worst for it..

When he released fox items he mustve got at least $500 in donations, month later he released frozen (When there were only like 10 ingame that dropped) mustve made upwards of $1500 then theres the x10 exp pots at $21 a pop (Which in itself would cover running costs) and when he released mir/furious chests, when only like 1 full mir set was ingame and NO furious at all, **** knows how much he made, but at like $50 an item and with at least 50 items being thrown into the gameyou do the math lol

Waiting for the next 'Expansion' which will be a new cave put together in like 2 hours, a new high level setwhich will be opento donations straight away and net a few thousand .. i dont know why people waste their money on this ****, when the items theyre buying are systematically made obselete in a months time.

And yes Ely will have donations but it wont be to fund their greed, it will be to cover running costs.

I wonder what wemade would think if they learnt you were running a server and taking ahuge amount of their profits from the euro market without a license? Most servers they ignore because they dont make enough? Might have to drop an email to them when im off my trip.

If donations bother you this much then don't play the server. Learn to accept it's his server and he will do whatever he likes. Yes, donations cover up the cost for dedi but it doesn't mean that he can't collect some money for his benefit too, after all it is his server that he put a lot of work in, his and his team so im sure they are also getting paid for the work they do for Ben. Now let's try to stay on topic instead of turning another innocent thread into a flame thread.
